Mrs. Hazel Grigg McCurry, 97, of Eastwood Village, Bostic, NC, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010. Services were held at A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Burial followed in Cliffside Cemetery. 

Mrs. McCurry was preceded in death by her husband, Claude McCurry; her parents, Samuel and Bessie Gold Grigg; and 1 brother, Wendell Grigg.

She is survived by 2 sons, Warren Russell McCurry and wife Frances of Orlando, Florida, and Melvin and Judy McCurry of Ellenboro; 1 sister, Lallage Grigg Freeman of Morganton; 3 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
