Tracy Bradley Carkees, age 50, of Rutherfordton, passed away September 26, 2021.

Tracy was born March 31, 1971 in Rutherford County to Johnny Bradley of Forest City and Mary Van Deventer of Rutherfordton. Tracy was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Forest City.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Bradley, Jr. and Michael Bradley.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include children, James Penland of Rutherford County, Wayne Penland of Alaska, Ashley Penland of Asheville, and Tiffany Cates (Jason) of Texas; sister, Mary Ann Head (Raymond) of Rutherfordton and 8 grandchildren.

A memorial service was held September 28, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
