Tula W. Greene, age 88, of Mooresboro passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Tula was born October 16, 1937, in Rutherford County to the late Roy Wilkie and Amy Whisnant Wilkie. Tula worked at Cone Mills Cliffside plant for over 24 years. Tula was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Tula was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Johnny R. Greene; daughter, Christy Greene; grandson Johnathon Dylan Greene, three brothers, Paul Wilkie, Lloyd Wilkie, and Roy Wilkie Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son Roger Greene (Kim) of Cliffside, a sister, Rosa Lee Cobb of Gaffney SC; three grandchildren, Justin Greene (Anna), Jake Greene (Courtney), Tyler Stacey (Micaela); and three great grandchildren, Eli Greene, Caden Greene, Colton Stacey.

The funeral was held May 11 at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Belue and Rev. Tim Wilkie officiating.
