The 2013 Race for the Gold Adult soap box derby and 4th of July Celebration was a big success, even with the rain. Twelve cars entered,  and ten cars raced,  with two cars having trouble with their brakes and not able to run.  The fastest of the day and the first place winner was ICC Welding with their sleek Black car.  Team Good Enough, the first place winner last year, came in second and was driven by just about everyone at Legal Grounds that day.   Third Place went to Fab Lab, an all enclosed car with a camera and monitor as the only way to see out.  Other cars were  “The Rubber Ducky”  “Team Redline Audio and Performance” “Casket Case” “Marine Corp League” “Tetanus Shot” “Facebook”  and “Kings of the hill”. Looks like a lot of fun! Start building your entry for next year’s race.
