Albert Chester Flack, age 70, of Rutherfordton, passed away November 7, 2015.

A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Justin C. Flack and Juline Lord Flack, a former employee of Mastercraft, a veteran having served in the US Army, an avid fisherman, and attended Piney Knob Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by wives, Gwendolyn Walker Flack and Martha Weaver Flack, and a brother, Robert Flack.

Survivors include three sisters, Nell Pope and her husband Coy of Greenhill, Justine Haynes and husband Roy of Shingle Hollow, Ruth Marie Flack of Shingle Hollow, a brother by choice, Mike "Monkey" Rollins, and a beloved dog, Lacey. He had 16 grandchildren and lots of great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Piney Knob Baptist Church with the Reverend Michael Brown and Reverend Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment followed in the Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Padgett and King Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
