Aletha Craven, age 94 formerly of Lake Lure, NC passed away, October 31, 2022.

Aletha was born in Pottawatomie County, OK and was a retired real estate agent. She is a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and a former member of Bills Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons John Craven and wife Ann, Tracy Joe Craven, Jr. and wife Cathy, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.

Aletha was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Tracy Joe Craven, Sr. as well as her parents, James Joseph and Jewel Freda Eck Cravens.

Funeral services were held November 5 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Dr. Scott Courtney officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bills Creek Fire Department 1184 Bills Creek Rd., Lake Lure, NC 28746.
