Alice Wilkie Kendrick, 90, formerly of Henrietta and a resident of Oakland Living Center, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Hospice House. Services were held at Henrietta First Baptist Church. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Kendrick was preceded in death by her parents, Yates and Betty Wilkie;  her husband of 54 years, Charles; a daughter Frieda Proctor; and two brothers Joe Wilkie and Robert Wilkie.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry Kendrick and wife Vicki of Purvis, MS, Ronnie Kendrick and wife Phyllis of High Point, NC, and Tommy Kendrick and wife Wanda of Forest City; one daughter, Tonda Radford and husband Edward of Sandy Mush; one son-in-law, Larry Proctor of Shelby; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren.

Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
