Allen A. Carlton, Jr., 89

Allen A. Carlton, Jr., 89, passed away on May 5, 2021.

He was born in Fulton, KY and was the son of the late Allen A. Carlton, Sr. and Ora "Bobbie" Curtis Carlton.

He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his son, Allen Carlton III of Forest City; daughters, Alicia Henderson (David) of Hendersonville, Karen Carlton-Park (Greg) of Forest City, and Teri C. Whisnant of Forest City; ten grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Cindy Carlton, and son-in-law, Kim Whisnant.

Funeral services were held in the Padgett & King Chapel. Interment followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
