Alex Nsengimana, a native of Rwanda, shared his testimony at Florence Baptist Church recently about how an Operation Christmas Child shoebox changed his life and how it plants the seed of Christ in children all across the world. He was a recipient of a shoebox while in an orphanage in Rwanda and said he remembers specifically the items in his box. He talked about receiving a candy cane, the first he had ever seen, and he said he ate the candy and the wrapper.
Operation Christmas Child was officially kicked off at Florence on April 26.
