Andrew Nicholas Rabon, age 18 of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016.

Andrew was born June 18, 1997 in Rutherford County and attended Holly Springs Baptist Church. He is currently a student at Isothermal Community College and worked part-time at Rutherford Life Services. Andrew greatly loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. His grandfather, the Reverend W. Bruce Rabon preceded him in death.

Survivors include his father, Jeff Rabon of Rutherfordton, his mother, Katie Frashier Doherty and step-father, Jai Doherty of Rutherfordton, brother, Devin Mark Rabon, and step-brother, Taylan Doherty all of Rutherfordton, grandparents, Diane J. Rabon of Boiling Springs, NC, and Mark and Mary Frashier of Rutherfordton, aunt, Marsha Frashier and uncle Reverend Jay Rabon.

Funeral services were held at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Moneyham, Reverend Tim Hodge, Reverend Jay Rabon officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery with Reverend James Henson officiating graveside rites.
