Ann Brooks, age 69, of Mooresboro, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023.

Ann was born November 24, 1953 in Rutherford County to the late Dorothy Blackwell Spicer. She worked in textiles and plastic manufacturing.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her father, James Spicer and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Brooks (Shannon), Jessie Brooks (Sharon) and Donnie Brooks (Chasity) all of Mooresboro; brother, Jr. Spicer of Ruth and sisters, Ruthie Spicer of Mooresboro, Cathy Phillips of Mooresboro and Punnie Wilson of Rutherfordton, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held July 15 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
