Bennett Classics Wins National AACA Museum Award
Bennett Classics Wins National AACA Museum Award
Owners Buddy & Joe Bennett grew up helping their uncle Joe Young at his Ford Dealership in Burnsville, North Carolina. That’s where they developed their love of old cars. So in the late 60’s, after they had both moved to Rutherford County, they both started successful business’s and on the side they started collecting cars.

High School Baseball Starts Well; Bring on the March Madness!
Well, the parody has just begun in high school baseball throughout the county. It looks like the SMAC could be taken by five different teams (Central, East, Burns, Shelby and Patton) and Rutherford County’s R-S Central has gained the early advantage.

Listen To Life
Dr. Joey Faucette
Listen To Life
Are you on a diet?
I’m trying to figure out something again today.  Maybe you can help me.  I’m trying to understand what’s up with all of these diets.
Everyday lately it seems that there are news reports about how obese Americans are—first it’s adults; now it’s children.  Fast food is to blame.  Then it’s soft drink vending machines in schools.
The weight loss industry is like a $539 bazillion enterprise in the U.S.  Take this pill.  Drink this beverage.  Buy this book.  Eat this food.  And yet every expert I’ve ever read—and most of these products—tout the virtues of moderate eating and exercise.
So why not just eat less and walk every day?  If it’s bad for you, don’t eat it.  If you need to walk a mile, cut the TV off and get out of your chair.
    Is that just too simple?
I suppose dieting is kind of like being positive.  You focus on the positive and filter out the negative from your mind.  You share your positive thoughts with others and pretty soon, your workplace and home are positive.
Keep It Simple Sweetie as you work positive and live positive today.

Outdoor Truths
I know that I am constantly growing as a hunter and fisherman. All I have to do is look back at last year and I know there is room to get better. One young man was being interviewed for a new position. The interviewer asked, “What do you wish to gain by your employment here?” To which the applicant replied, “I wish to gain experience.” Well, there’s one thing that’s for sure, he will gain experience. It may be a good experience or a bad experience, but he will gain experience.
