Fund-Raising Spaghetti Supper: Thurs. April 26, 5:30-6:45pm at R-S Central High, 641 Hwy 221 N, Rutherfordton. Fund-raiser for Rutherford Housing Partnership, a local nonprofit that provides urgently needed repairs to the homes of qualified low-income homeowners. Suggested donation: $7. Supper precedes LeFevre Quartet, a Southern Gospel group from Atlanta, GA. Tickets on sale at the door.

Walk for Life: Hands of Hope for Life Pregnancy Center Walk for Life, Sat. April 28, 10am. Rain or shine! Begins & ends at North Powell St., Forest City. The walk is under 2 miles. Registration 9am. Sponsor forms at the center or on their Facebook page.
