Barbara Ann "Annie" Blackwell, age 81 of Rutherford County passed away Friday, November 13, 2020

Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Tina Lail and husband John; one son, Gene Blackwell and wife Amy; five grandchildren. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her mother Gertie Sims, step father LeRoy Sims who raised her and her father Charles Hodge.

Graveside services were held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City NC 28043.
