Barbara Diane Hoppes, 54, of Spindale, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Walker and Patsy Laughter Terry. Barbara was a mail carrier and of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Heather Mccabe; sons, Ron Mccabe and Jonathan Ledbetter; thirteen grandchildren; stepdaughter, Amber Bunn; sister, Susan Terry and husband Rodney; brothers, Doug Walker and wife Tammy, Andy Walker and wife Regina, Daniel Walker and wife Kelsi; lifelong partner Rodney Walker.

Graveside services were held March 5 at Rutherfordton City cemetery with Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating.
