Barbara Jo Brown, age 73, of Bostic, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Howard Parker and the late Nette Hollar Parker and a native of Boone. Barbara attended Concord Baptist Church and was formerly the secretary of Mooresville First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Rex Brown. Three Sons: Michael Brown and his wife Kathy, Kevin Brown and his wife Kelly, Aaron Brown and his wife Denise. Two brothers: Larry Parker, Ronnie Parker, and four grandchildren.

No memorial services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills; PO Box 336; Forest City, NC 28043.
