Barbara Jones Harrison, age 76

Barbara Jones Harrison, age 76 of Ellenboro, died April 5, 2022.

She was born May 31, 1945, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late William Claudus Jones and Ruth Hughes Jones.

Barbara was a member of Walls Baptist Church, and worked at Hickory Log Barbeque in Forest City.

Barbara was preceded in death by husband, James Madison Harrison, Sr in 2005 and brother, William Nelson Jones.

Survivors include sons, Jamey Harrison and fiancée, Jackie Lail, Johnny Harrison and fiancée, Fran Abernathy all of Ellenboro, daughter, Tara Toney and husband Jason of Ellenboro, and sister, Judy K. Bowman of Kings Mountain, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service was held at The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Ad Hopper officiating.
