Bette Burgin Gettys, 92

Bette Burgin Gettys, 92, formerly of the Duncan's Creek Community, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Burgin and Nannie Bell Harris Burgin and the widow of the late Fred Gettys.

Survivors include her son, Mike Gettys and wife Nina of Ellenboro; daughters, Fredia Nolen and husband Jim of Marshville, NC, Ginger McCraw and husband Bobby of Ellenboro, Ann Moore, of Ellenboro, and Pam Gettys of Ellenboro; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activity Fund of Fairhaven-Bostic, 149 Fairhaven Dr, Bostic, NC 28018 or to Duncan's Creek Presbyterian Church, 1658 Duncan's Creek Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
