Bettie Jean Brown Jones went home to be with her Lord February 3, 2022.

Bettie was born in 1934, and lived a full and vibrant life until the age of 87. Bettie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maggie Neighbors Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fonzbee Jones and her siblings Barbara Hunt, Glenda Lytle, Jimmy Brown, Jessie Fuller, and Luvinia Brown. God blessed Bettie with a multitude of family members; her children include Lester Jones, Jamerson Jones, Pattis Wingo (McDonald), Annie Mae Alexander (Carl), Vestinnia Lowrance, Kimberly Dukes, and Sonya Jones; Sisters Margaret Wilkins, and Thelma Hardy; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

A homegoing service was held February 12 at 2:00PM at Webb First Baptist Church Ellenboro. Officiants included Bishop Michael Moore, Rev. Donald Charles, Minister Jacquiline Hampton, Rev. Wayne Roberts.
