Betty Anne Scruggs Graham

Betty Anne Scruggs Graham formally from Forest City passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018.

She was the daughter of the late Roy Rucker Scruggs and Ina Mae Daniel Scruggs and wife of the late Lloyd Graham.

Betty was a member of the Cliffside Baptist Church, Hannah Sunday School Class, Goodwill Group and North Carolina Federation Women's Club. She was also a Teacher's Assistant for 15 years and it was a most rewarding job for her.

Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her four brothers and three sisters plus their spouses Dan and Mae Scruggs, Bill and Elizabeth Scruggs, James "Whitey" Scruggs and Martha, Rucker and Dot Scruggs, Mae and Joe Jones, Polly and J.T. Moore and, Mary Elizabeth Scruggs was 9 when she died.

Left to cherish her memories are one daughter Lynn Church and husband David from Greensboro, three grandchildren and one great-

grandson with lots of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at Cliffside Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Elgin officiated the service.

At the request of the family, a private burial will be held at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are asking to be made to Cliffside Baptist Church PO Box 336, Cliffside, NC 28024.

Arrangements are entrusted to Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside.
