Betty Fox Spears, of 126 Spears Road, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011. Services were held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home.

Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Brown Spears; her parents, Irey and Vernie Horton Fox; and one brother, George Fox.

She is survived by one son, Gary Spears of Henrietta; one daughter, Felicia Dotson and husband Kenneth of Forest City; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is servig the family.
