Betty W. Hensley, age 82

Betty W. Hensley, age 82, of Ellenboro, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

Betty was born August 22, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Ernest Grayson Ward and Birdie Mae Moore Ward. She worked as an agent for Blanton-Flack Insurance Agency for many years and was a longtime member of Caroleen United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Hensley and two brothers, Billy Lee Ward and Bobby Grayson Ward.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Todd Hensley and wife, Donna of Ellenboro and a grandson. She is also survived by a longtime friend, P.G. Jolley of Mooresboro.

A graveside service was conducted at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
