Betty Waters Secker, 81, of Bostic, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017.

A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Norris Waters and Nixie Biggerstaff Waters. Betty was co-owner of AeroFlight, Inc. at the Rutherford County Airport, a 1954 graduate of Sunshine High School, a 1956 graduate of Blanton's Business College and a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church, Bostic.

Survivors include her sons, Bill Secker of Charlotte, and Brad Secker and wife Tracie of Concord; brothers, Bud Waters and Bob Waters, both of Bostic; sisters, Martha Hood of Charlotte, and Nancy Upton of Bostic, and three grandchildren.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, POB 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
