Billy Gene "Bill" Melton age 82

Billy Gene "Bill" Melton age 82 of Bostic passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Born October 30, 1938 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Naam Champion Melton and Ola Murray Melton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Melton and Chivous Melton.

Surviving are his wife, Martha Tesseniar Melton; four daughters, Teresa Bullman of Ellenboro, Sharon Pruett and husband, Grady, Amy Melton Suhy, all of Forest City, Susan McCurry and husband, Fred of Bostic; three step-daughters, Lynne Greene of Bostic, Michelle Hawkins and husband, Bernie, Christi Spillman and husband, David, all of Forest City; two brothers, Norman Melton and Jimmy Melton and wife, Norma Kay, all of Ellenboro; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services were held at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
