PrintBilly Rogers Buchanan, 78, of Rutherfordton passed away July 1, 2012.
He was born on April 16, 1934 in Jackson County to R. Guy Buchanan and Valerie Rogers Buchanan. He was the grandson of John and Florence Buchanan. Survivors include his wife Marian L. Buchanan and his daughter Cynthia Ensley, two aunts Martha Crisp and Jonnie Hall and many cousins.
He was predeceased by a daughter. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from First Union in Charlotte in 1996. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043. No Services are planned as requested by the deceased.
