Bob Greene, age 76, of Ellenboro, passed away October 27, 2021.

Bob was born September 2, 1945 in Burnsville, NC to the late Lewis Green and Hettie Gurley Greene. He was the owner and operator of Greene's Upholstery for over 30 years and a member of Big Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Linda Houser Greene; siblings, Charles Greene, Ray Greene, Jack Greene, John Greene, Mildred Boone, Faye Hughes and May Willis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Carole Brooks of Ellenboro; son, Matt Greene (Deana) of Marion; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held November 1, 2021 at Big Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Scott and Rev.Jim Richardson officiating.

Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
