Bobby Dean Curtis, age 82, of Forest City, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Albert Curtis and Juanita Hill Curtis. He worked for over twenty years as a supervisor with Doncaster-Tanner Company and retired from Henson Timber. Bobby was a U S Army veteran serving during peacetime in Korea and attended Crestview Baptist Church. He took great pride in his collection of clocks and also in his yard work, which allowed him to enjoy the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn Young Curtis of the home, daughters, Lisa Logan and husband Hugh of Forest City, and Linda Cannon and husband Chris of Marion; four grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Funeral services were in The Padgett & King Chapel. Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
