Sarah Bell Earley recently donated 80 books to the media center at Rutherford Elementary in honor of her father, Donald Bell's, 80th birthday. Bell was a fifth grade teacher at Rutherfordton Elementary before his retirement. Earley said she chose books that fit into the interests of her father, and that the book donation was fitting as she has strong memories of him reading to her as a child. Earley and her family visited the school to see the books.
