Fall Boy Scout Day at Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Programs during the day will include Shelter Building 101, Orienteering and the Ten Essentials of Hiking. Scouts will also have the opportunity to earn a patch specific to Chimney Rock and to work with North Carolina State Parks to become a Junior Ranger. Cost is $15 per Scout, $12 per adult and $5.50 each additional child.
