The Rutherford Outdoor Coalition's Broad River Fall Sweep will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The fall cleaning will include the following sections: Section 2 (Rock Springs Church Road to Clark Road); Section 3 (Clark Road to River Road); Section 4 (River Road to Grays Road); and Section 5 (Grays Road to Coxe Road). Groups of volunteers will be responsible for one section, and trash bags and gloves will be provided. A cookout will follow the clean up for volunteers.
