Bruce A. Price, age 95, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
Bruce was born to the late Robert Price and Minnie Green Price.
He served in the US Navy on the USS Haynes and was a veteran of World War II. Military honors were rendered by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Agnes Morrow Price; two brothers, Virgil Price and Theron Price; four sisters, Bethel Price, Eunice Suttle, Mary Berryhill and Frances Waters.
Survivors include one daughter, Susanne Price of Forest City; three grandchildren, Sherri Allen, Ritchie Allen and fiancé, Dawn Wease all of Forest City, Lacy Ferguson and husband, Walker of Swannanoa, NC; one sister, Evelyn Wilkins of Forest City and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Memorial donations are suggested to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, 397 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Forest City, NC 28043 or to Hospice of Rutherford County, POB 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
