Carl F. "Bud" Harris, age 83

Carl F. "Bud" Harris, age 83, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Bud was born February 10, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late John Harris and Bessie Mitchell Harris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lucille Harris Hicks, and great-granddaughter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-five years, Doris Hooper Harris; son, Carl Irby Harris (Linda) of Forest City; daughter, Yvonne Harris Haulk (Mark) of Forest City; five sisters, Frances Creola Harris Jones (Casey) of Forest City, Helen Irene Harris LaPage (Pop) of Mooresboro, Pansy Jane Harris McCraw (Gary) of Sunshine, Carmal Paulette Harris Smith (Kirk) of Bostic and Deborah Harris Crowe of Ohio. He is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Pleasant View Community Church. Interment followed at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
