Carol Stallings Pate, age 73, of Rutherfordton, NC, died January 2, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late James Stallings, and Annie Lou Stallings, and she was a native of Rutherford County.

She was an active member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 1/2 years, Johnny Pate, daughters, Melissa Pate Condrey (Phil), Jamie Pate Harris (Dwayne), Alicia Pate James, mother, Annie Lou Stallings, brother, Rick Stallings, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at Holly Springs Baptist Church January 6, 2022, with Rev. Scott Moneyham and Rev. Timothy Hodge officiating.
