With hearts full of gratitude and love, we celebrate the life of cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carolyn Kendrick Scoggins McCartha, who, at the age of 95, peacefully completed her earthly journey and found her eternal rest November 22, 2025.

Born in Henrietta, NC she was the daughter of the late John Melvin Kendrick and Johnnie Elma Bridges Kendrick. Carolyn was a faithful servant of the Lord and member of Adaville Baptist Church.

Surviving family members are her daughter, Glenda Scoggins Tate, and husband, Tommy, her son, Larry Dean Scoggins, and wife, Teresa, three grandchildren, Lisa Moody, Melissa Yost, Bryan Tate (Lauren) and six great-grandchildren Riley Cassel (Austin), Ella, Camden, Ben, Mckenzie, and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider donating to Hospice of Carolina Foothills PO Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11AM in the Chapel of Crowe's Mortuary.
