Carolyn Ruppe Tessnear, age 81

Carolyn Ruppe Tessnear, age 81, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022.

Carolyn was born July 31, 1941 in Rutherford County to the late Henry Ruppe and Pearl Melton Ruppe. She was a homemaker. Carolyn worked as a seamstress for Deb's Sewing and was a member of Victory Baptist Church Spindale. She enjoyed gospel singing and was a member of the Melatones Singing Group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Calvin and Ronnie Ruppe.

Those left to cherish fond memories are sisters Myrle Mills of the Chase Community and Becky Bradley (Claude) of Bostic and brother, Rev. Jerry Ruppe (Freida) of Bostic, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held September 2 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Greene officiating.
