Cathy Padgett Gadoury, 61, joined her parents, Ruby and Paul Padgett, and brother Larry Padgett in Heaven on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Cathy grew up in Spindale and was a member of First Baptist Church of Spindale. She graduated from Rutherfordton-Spindale High School. Cathy studied at Wingate College and Asheville/Buncombe College.

She created and leaves many great memories with her husband Dean Gadoury, son Zachary Gadoury, daughter in law, Lexi, sister Sandy Padgett, sister-in-law Ann Padgett, one niece and extended family and friends.

A celebration of life was held in the chapel of Crowe's Mortuary August 19.
