Charles Lane, age 69, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

Charles was born February 17, 1953, in Gaston County to the late Edgar Worth Lane and Cora Conner Lane. He worked for Alpha Plastic Mfg. and Allied Die Casting. He was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Mary Lane and fifteen brothers and sisters.

Survivors include sister Sue Lane of Rutherfordton; stepson Randy Bullock of Ellenboro, stepdaughter Ranee Hardy of SC and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held September 28 at St. Francis Episcopal Church with Rev. Toni Belhu officiating.
