Charles Pruett, age 75, of Bostic, passed away on September 18, 2014.

Born May 2, 1939 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Carmel Pruett & Mattie Hill Pruett. He worked for Western Southern Insurance for many years & PCA manufacturing for 13 years. He was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church & enjoyed golfing, reading his Bible & spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Bob Pruett & 2 sisters, Lois Doggett & Dot Pruett.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Diane Pruett; 2 sons, Wayne Pruett & wife, Julia of Ellenboro & Danny Ledford & wife, Lisa of Lawndale; 3 daughters, Barbara King & husband, Dennis, Lisa Constante & husband, Joel & Angela Herring all of Bostic; 3 brothers, Carl Pruett & wife, Lena of Rutherfordton, Bill Pruett & wife, Judy & Ray Pruett of Forest City; 1 sister, Janice Brown & husband, Doyle of Shingle Hollow Community. He is survived by 11 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown, Reverend Danny Ledford & Reverend Brian Bowlin officiating. Burial is private.
