Charles Ray Daniel, age 83, a resident of Rutherford County, NC, passed away October 12, 2023.

Ray was born to the late Charles Robert Daniel and Mildred Davis Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sybil Walker Daniel, and daughter Renee.

Ray leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving daughter, Debby Hord, and husband, Larry, one grandson, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren.

Ray was the owner and operator of Ray's Auto Body Shop in Forest City.

A graveside service was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park October 16 with Rev. Skip Allen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Community Church Upper Cleveland, C/O 1114 S. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28152.
