Charles Ray Humphries, age 87 of Forest City, passed away February 23, 2022.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son to the late John Robert Humphries and Lillie Robbs Humphries.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife Betty B. Humphries.

He is survived by sons Ricky Humphries (Gina Appling) and Robert Humphries, brother Joe Humphries, three grandsons, one great granddaughter and two great grandsons.

A graveside service was held February 26, 2022 at Cleveland Memorial Park in Shelby with Rev. Wayne Toney officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Hospice House of Carolina Foothills at PO Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
