Charles Ray Ramsey, 83, of Mooresboro, passed away on January 4, 2021.
Charles was born in Rutherford County on November 4th 1937 and was the youngest son of Roy and Fannie McGinnis Ramsey.
Charles served in the Army and was stationed in Germany.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marianne Houser Ramsey; son, Tim Ramsey and wife, Phyllis of Charlotte; son, Ray Ramsey and wife, Kelly of Shelby; five grandchildren.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an adopted daughter, Angela Olsen; sisters: Gertrude Harrill and Macie Harris and five brothers: R.B. Ramsey, Guy Ramsey, Harry Ramsey, Hugh Ramsey, and Dewitt Ramsey.
A graveside service was held at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery of Mooresboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 1301 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114 or Cleveland County Hospice.
