Charlie White, age 68, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Charlie was born March 30, 1954 in Rutherford County to the late Charles Richard White, Sr. and Ruth Jonas White. He was a graduate of Chase High School. Charlie was served honorably in the US Army and was veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked many years for the NCDOC as a Correctional Officer and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Elizabeth Graham White.

Left to cherish fond memories are daughter, Jessica Cargile (Preston) of Durham, grandson, Logan Cargile; sisters, Monea Hines (Steve) and Marcia Graham all of Boiling Springs, SC; mother-in-law, Laura Lancaster of Henrietta and sister-in-law, Janett Jones of Forest City.

A celebration of life service will be held on a later date.
