Christine Taylor Whitlow, age 79, of Forest City, NC passed away Monday, December 26, 2022.

Christine was born August 28, 1943 in Wilmington, NC, to Bruce Taylor and Annie Lee Bell Taylor. She earned a degree in Secretarial Science from Anderson College and worked as a secretary most of her adult life, primarily as church secretary for First Baptist Church in Anderson, SC.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 58 years Rev. Dr. Jimmy D. Whitlow; daughters Lori Danielle Uhrig of Columbia, SC and Terri Denise Ashworth (Kevin) of York, PA; three grandchildren and a brother, Melvin Taylor (Kay) of Charleston, SC.

The funeral service was held December 30, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Scott Courtney officiating.
