Claude "Benny" Cole, age 61, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021.

Claude was born November 23, 1959 in Rutherford County to the late Claude Benson Cole, Sr. and Annie Pearl Greene Cole.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jermy Cole.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Susie Cole; son, Richard Blake of Rutherfordton; two daughters, Stephanie Suzanne Bearden (Stephen) of Greenville, Florida and Ashley Cole of Rutherfordton; brother, Mark Cole (Tammy) of Shiloh; aunt, Nancy Childers of Rutherfordton and three grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
