Colleen Doggett Morris, age 86 of Ellenboro, died April 3, 2022.

Colleen was born in Rutherford County on February 25, 1936, and was the daughter of the late W. P. and Ruby Haulk Doggett.

She was a graduate of Cool Springs High School and the Spartanburg General Hospital School of Nursing. Colleen worked at Rutherford Hospital and Cleveland Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Forest City.

In 1958 she married her husband, Garland E. Morris who died in 2010.

Survivors include her son, Douglas E. Morris and wife Barbara of Gastonia, daughters, Patti Morris Reynolds and husband Robert of Ellenboro, and Melanie Morris Duncan and husband John of Gastonia, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

The funeral service was held April 7 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev.Eric Yelton officiating.
