Colleen Jenkins Biggerstaff passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Odell Biggerstaff, her parents, Brantley Jenkins and Amie Harrill Jenkins, sisters, Mary Jenkins Whitener and Dorothy Jenkins Butler, brothers, Brantley Jenkins, Jr. and Norman Jenkins.

She is survived by her son, William Douglas Biggerstaff and his companion, Jody Lowery Ledford, and her daughter Amie Biggerstaff Sisk and husband Johnny, one grandson, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, one great-daughter.

Colleen was born November 1, 1926, in Leslie, GA and moved with her parents to Ellenboro when she was about five. She graduated from Ellenboro High School. She enjoyed a banking career for 37 years. She retired in 1989 from First Union National Bank.

Colleen was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

The funeral service was held February 24 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. David Hawkins and Rev. Chris Glawson.
