BelkGives on the Go Mobile Mammography Center to visit Tri City Mall in Forest City on Sat. Feb. 18, 9am-5:30pm to offer free, convenient mammogram screenings. Women age 40 and over with no breast concerns, who have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months and have a primary care physician are eligible by calling 855-655-2662 to schedule an appt. After receiving their mammograms, women also can receive complimentary bra fittings.
Pink Ladies Support Group: 1st Monday of each month from 5pm to 6:30pm at Rutherford Regional's Cancer Resource Center; for women who have been diagnosed with cancer. 828-245-4596.
Sons of Confederate Veterans The Polk Volunteers Camp # 919 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans invites you to meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month, and we love to have visitors. Paws of Rutherford County Is having two low cost spay and neuter transports on Feb. 14 & Feb. 28. Cats are $25 and Dog are only $35 if they are up to date on their rabies Vaccinations.
