Isothermal Amateur Radio Club

HOPE Support Group: Four week support group for any adult who has lost a loved one, Feb. 12, 19 and 26 at 10:30am at First Presbyterian Church in Marion. Also, March 3, 10, 17 and 24, 6pm at the Annette Cash Whitaker Center of Living in Forest City. Call Hospice at 828-245-0095 to register.

 

Free Community Fellowship Dinner

Valentine’s Dance

Domestic Violence Education/Support Group

Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop

Hours for winter, open Fri. & Sat., 10am-4pm for Feb and March. New items arriving weekly. Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill, non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization. We accept donations of food and bedding supplies for dogs/cats waiting to be adopted. Donations are tax deductible. 828-625-1042. 305 Buffalo Creek Rd., Lake Lure.

Celebrate Recovery 

Is a recovery program based on principles from the 8 Beatitudes in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount. It is where people can safely work together in helping those dealing with all types of hurts, hang-ups, or habits.
