Dale “Slab” Buff, age 55, of Forest City, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

Born October 17, 1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was a son of Elbert Buff of Ellenboro and the late Mary Lucille Adair Buff. He was an electrician & worked for H.R. Allen Construction for many years. He was an avid NASCAR fan & enjoyed watching Professional Wrestling. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Buff.

Besides his father, survivors include his wife, Rebecca Clontz; 3 sons, Casey Buff & fiancé, Crystal Boone of Mill Springs, Curtis Buff of Spindale & Bobby Buff of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; the mother of his children, Sherree Marie Whitlock of Spindale; 3 sisters, Freda Lynch of Cashier, Donna Waters & husband, Johnny of Ellenboro & Patti Bridges & husband, David of Bessemer City; brother, Matthew Buff of Ellenboro; 2 grandchildren, Lilith Buff and Sidney Michael Buff.

A memorial service was conducted at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reid Medlin officiating.
