Daniel P. Fredlund, age 77, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013. 

A native of Chevy Chase, MD, he was the son of the late John and Helen Miller Fredlund.

Daniel is survived by his wife Frankie Smith Fredlund of the home.

No services are planned at this time. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Bldg 1, Asheville, NC 28801.
